Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a program from the National Council of Mental Wellbeing aimed at early intervention and public education. It is a skill-based training course that teaches adults how to identify signs of potential mental health challenges, offering nonjudgmental support and reassurance to individuals experiencing such challenges, and guiding them towards appropriate professional support and services.

How Blended Youth MHFA Works: Participants complete 2 hours of online self-paced coursework followed by a scheduled 4.5-5 hour IN-PERSON Instructor-led class.
