2027 Community Impact Grant Application
The United Way of Bartow County Community Impact Grant is a competitive, one-time funding opportunity for nonprofit organizations serving residents of Bartow County. This grant supports programs that demonstrate measurable outcomes and meaningful impact in our community.
New for 2026
- All applications and supporting documents must be completed and submitted online through this portal
- Maximum grant amount: $60,000 per agency
- Organizations requesting $2,500 or less should contact Phoebe Floyd (phoebe@bartowliveunited.org) to receive a separate simplified application
- No paper applications will be accepted
- New applicants are required to attend a Grant Information Session to ensure eligibility and understanding of the grant process

Eligibility Requirements
Organizations must:
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Serve residents of Bartow County, GA
- Align programming with one or more United Way focus areas
- Demonstrate clear, measurable outcomes and community impact
- Attend a Grant Information Session if applying for the first time

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Agency Interviews
Agency interviews with United Way of Bartow Evaluation Teams are a required part of the allocation process, even if the agency has previously been awarded a United Way Community Impact Grant.
Interviews will be scheduled in for mid September-October 2026 and your agency contact will be contacted to coordinate the best time for the agency and evaluation teams to meet.
Allocation Timeline and Details
Community Impact Grants are one-time awards, and all funds must be fully expended during the 2027 calendar year.
Award amounts and the designation of United Way of Bartow County partner agencies may vary based on the total funds available through the Annual Community Investment Fund. Final funding decisions are informed by the recommendations of our Evaluation Teams and are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
Agencies will be notified of funding decisions in December 2026, with fund disbursement beginning in January 2027 for use throughout the calendar year.
