課程簡介 The Course:
通常餐廳、咖啡館、餐飲企業、及其他食品製作工場都會要求員工持有食品處理人員課程證書，以確保食品得到安全處理，減少食源性疾病的風險。食品處理人員課程着重教授從事餐飲行業正確的食品處理，食物衛生，環境衛生和安全實踐。課程涵蓋個人衛生、預防交叉污染、食源性疾病、溫度控制、清潔和消毒程序以及適當的食品儲存技術等主題。
Completion of a food handler course is often a requirement for individuals working in restaurants, cafes, catering businesses, food trucks, and other establishments where food is prepared or served to the public. Certification from a food handler course may be mandatory for employment in these settings to ensure that food is handled safely and to reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses.
A food handler course is a training program designed to educate individuals who work in the food service industry about proper food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and safety practices. The course typically covers topics such as personal hygiene, preventing cross-contamination, foodborne illnesses, temperature control, cleaning and sanitizing procedures, and proper food storage techniques.

課程分 廣東話班 和 普通話班（視乎課堂供應），並會以少量英文輔助教授，筆記主要以英文為主，中文補充(考試以英文輔以中文進行)
The course is offered in different languages. We have Cantonese classes and Mandarin Classes (Depending on the availability). Notes will focus on English, supplemented by Chinese. (Exams will be in English, supplemented by Chinese )

在監考人員陪同下進行閉卷考試。 將有 50 條選擇題，考試成績必須達到至少 70% 才能通過課程。 參加者將在完成考試後 15 天內收到其等級通知，並將收到食品處理人員證書。 如果學員未通過考試，他們可以註冊完整課程，重複課程內容和考試，費用相同，永久居民及公約難民 CAD $90，其他 CAD $100。
A closed-book exam with 50 multiple-choice questions will be administered under invigilation. A minimum 70% score is necessary to pass. The certificates will be issued within 15 days post-exam. Retaking the full course, including the exam, is an option for those who fail at the same fee: CAD $90 for permanent residents and convention refugees, and CAD $100 for others.
