    Player Guidelines:

    1.      All players must arrive at practice on time and be ready to work. (15 minutes before practice starts to put up net, stretch and warm up)

(This is not a social event, if a player continues to disrupt practice they will be asked to leave.  The player is at practice for 2 hours a week, how they take advantage of the training/practice is up to them)

    2.     Teamwork is a crucial element of being able to win games/tournaments

Players must learn to work with each other and rely on each other with a positive attitude even when things are not going their way.   Everybody has a role on the team; even on the bench they will have a role in order to support the team in a positive manner.  If a player does not like their playing time on the court in a tournament, they must work harder in practice.

    3.     All players that are injured or restricted from sports activity must get written doctor’s release to return to practice and/or tournaments.

    4.     All players will have to referee games (scorer, score keeper, down referee, lineman) They must attend either referee or scorekeeper clinics. There will be a $25 fee for clinic. There is also a $100 Fee if a player leaves before being released from coach at tournaments. Player must receive written release from Coach to be released.

    7.     Respect the coach on all their decisions.  The coach will make every effort to get everyone in the game during tournaments, however it is not mandatory.   In the playoffs some players may not play at all.   Everybody has a part to do on the team and players on the bench have a role as well.

    8.     Any player can choose to find sponsors to help with the cost of their club dues.   All sponsor funds will be distributed ½ to credit player’s dues and ½ to DVA.
