  • We appreciate your interest in serving on a MASA committee. To ensure representation from all regions across the state, our goal is to have a minimum of 18 members on each committee, with at least two representatives from each of the nine regions. Committee appointments are for a one-year term. 

    Please indicate your interest in each committee in the sections that follow. You will be placed on each committee you select yes to. 

    Please note that the dates below are tentative until approved by the newly appointed Chair and Chair-Elects. Calendar invitations will be sent to committee members by August 1st, 2026, to confirm all dates.

    Supports MASA’s professional learning by identifying member needs, reviewing current offerings, and helping shape conferences, workshops, and other development opportunities.

    The Federal Advocacy Committee is responsible for establishing communications with Minnesota's eight U.S. Congresspersons and Minnesota's U.S. Senators. As more federal legislation is enacted that impacts local schools, we need a better, and unified voice, to influence legislation at the national level.​
