  • SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTSAND APPROVAL PROCEDURES

  • The following procedures shall be followed when submitting preliminary plats for a subdivision:

    1) The subdivider shall meet with the zoning administrator to review a sketch plat of the proposed subdivision and upon receiving approval by the zoning administrator:

    a) The subdivider shall submit a completed application, digital copy of proposed plat and pay appropriate fees.

    b) The Planning and Zoning Committee shall hold a public hearing to consider the request and make a recommendation to the Mayor and Council.

    c) The plat shall be submitted to the Mayor and Council for approval.

    d) The approved preliminary plat shall be stamped and one copy returned to the subdivider.

    e)  Development plans and application for land disturbance permit must be submitted prior to the start of land disturbing activities. Requirements for submission are in the Land Disturbance Application.
