2026 Lisa Walker Memorial Scholarship Application

Purpose: To provide a one-time scholarship to two (2) eligible students currently residing in the East Lake neighborhood and pursuing post-secondary education.

Award: Two (2) total non-renewable scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to two (2) separate individuals selected by a committee of East Lake residents.

Eligibility:

1. Applicant must be a resident of the East Lake neighborhood.

2. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA (unweighted).

3. Applicant must demonstrate involvement within the school and community.

4. Applicant must be graduating from high school in spring/summer of 2026 or be a resident who has been accepted to a post-secondary institution.

5. Applicant must show proof of admission from the post-secondary institution and intent to enroll in the Fall of 2026.

6. Applicant must not have previously received a scholarship from the East Lake Neighborhood Community Association.

7. Applicant must submit ALL completed materials by the deadline (Friday, May 15, 2026). Late applications will not be considered.

3. High School transcript or current transcript if already enrolled in a post-secondary institution

4. Proof of of admission from the post-secondary institution and intent to enroll in the Fall of 2026
