This is a Non-riddenย clinicย designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and reset โ both for yourself and your horse.
๐ธ DAYย 1 โ Mindset & Emotional Regulation (no horse required for day 1)
Because your horse feels everything โ especially you.
This session is you-focused, for good reason.
Daily stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and that constant mental noise donโt magically disappear when you walk into the paddockโฆ and your horse knows it.
In Session 1, we slow things right down and unpack what youโre carrying โ so you donโt keep handing it to your horse.
You will:
- Learn practical, real-life tools to manage everyday stress and anxiety
- Understand how your mindset and emotional state directly influence your horse
- Recognise unhelpful thought patterns that create tension and disconnection
- Build strategies to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more present
- Learn to notice early stress signals in both yourself and your horse
This isnโt about โthinking positiveโ or pushing through.
Itโs about building a toolbox that actually works โ at home, in the paddock, and on the hard days.
๐ธ DAYย 2 โ Groundwork Foundations & Confidence Building
This is where the groundwork basics do the talking.
In Session 2, we use simple, intentional groundwork to uncover where your horse may be lacking confidence, clarity, or security.
Thereโs no rushing, no pressure, and no โone-size-fits-allโ approach.
Because the group size is kept intentionally small, each horse is worked with as an individual โ not pushed through a cookie-cutter format.
In this session, we focus on:
- Observing how your horse responds to basic requests and pressure
- Identifying areas where confidence is missing or fragile
- Improving communication, timing, and feel
- Supporting your horse to feel safer, more relaxed, and more willing
- Adjusting exercises to suit your horse, not the other way around
The groundwork itself stays simple, but the insights are powerful. Often itโs in the basics that the real answers show up.
This session allows you toย slow down, really see your horse, and understand what theyโre telling you โ without judgement, labels, or comparison.

Investment:ย $550 per personย (BYO horse)
Equipment: Rope halter, 12ft rope, long whip (dressage or carriage style)
Footwear: Suitable closed-in shoes required
Clothing: Sunsmart attire recommended
Please also bring a camp chair to sit on :)
Arrival: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the clinic start time to complete waivers
