PLEASE NOTE:
All applications for the Australian Music Foundation Classical Awards will be judged via online video submissions.
There will be no live Final performances in London.
STAGE 1:
Please check the rules and regulations on www.australianmusicfoundation.org/classical-awards then register online and you will be sent a link to the application form.
STAGE 2:
Fill in the application form, add links to your video files, upload your music scores and pay the £10 application fee via PayPal.
CLOSING DATE:
Online applications will close at 11:59 PM UK BST, MONDAY, 11 MAY 2026.
RESULTS:
We hope to announce the names of the new awardees by the end of August / early September.
PLEASE READ AND FLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY PRIOR TO SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION.
Applications are open to young AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS who are currently taking part in a course of undergraduate (3rd year onwards only) or postgraduate study in classical music overseas, or who are planning to join a new course of postgraduate study at the beginning of the academic year September 2026 - July 2027. New courses of study overseas may only be postgraduate or equivalent, e.g. doctorate.
AGE LIMIT: 27 (Instrumentalists), 31 (Singers, Accompanists, Repetiteurs, Composers and Conductors) on the closing date for applications.
VIDEO AUDITION FILES to support your application should be uploaded to 'public' or 'unlisted' links on YouTube/Vimeo.
Only composers (and organists under certain circumstances) may send audio files, plus PDF copies of their compositions, via SoundCloud, wetransfer.com or Dropbox.
FEE: There is a £10 admin fee to apply.
