Auditions: Open Call

When: Friday, April 24 at 6pm or Saturday, April 25 at 6pm

Dance Call participation is REQUIRED for casting consideration. Please sign up for and attend the Dance Call of your choice.

Where: Mystic Owl Tattoo Basement 646 Roswell St. NE Marietta, GA 30060 Basement level (MTC Rehearsal Hall)

Parking:  PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT MYSTIC OWL TATTOO for your audition. Please park slightly up the street at Park Street Elementary School. Violators may be towed or fined at their own expense.

Callbacks (must be able to attend in person if selected): Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 6-10pm - If you are not able to attend callbacks (if selected), please reach out to us at info@mariettatheatre.com to discuss the specifics of your situation.

Please note that physical callback attendance is required for consideration for casting in a lead role.

Hi there! A quick note from your friends on the casting team: please be transparent with us about if you're interested in only one specific role in the show. Notating your availability for only a specific role will never adversely impact your casting chances for this or any MTC project.

While it is never viewed unfavorably to select only a specific role, it will slow the casting process down if you indicate openness to any role and end up not accepting an offer from MTC.
Theatre is an ensemble artform. Expect to be generally called for all rehearsals (rehearsals are, generally, Tue/Thu (6:30-9:30pm) and Sun (2pm-8pm) until the technical phase begins), but please list any conflicts you may know about from June 2-August 23, 2026. Please note that we will not be able to consider casting if you have any conflicts between August 4 and August 23, 2026. *
Please be as detailed as possible. Our artform requires that you be present for all rehearsals for which you are called, except for those documented here and approved through MTC's Conflict Policy. We additionally require that you are present for every tech/dress rehearsal and performance (dates listed above in the period labeled "no conflicts").

Our audition process has recently changed, so please take a moment to review the information below before signing up.

Vocal Call Slot Details

Audition slots are now scheduled in 30-minute blocks. Instead of selecting a specific vocal call time, you’ll choose a 30-minute window that works best for you. You may arrive at any point within your selected window, but you must be checked in by the end of that 30-minute period. Late arrivals will be moved to standby.

Once you arrive and check in, you can expect to be seen for your vocal call within approximately 30 minutes.

Important: To help us manage space and keep things running smoothly, please do not arrive more than 45 minutes before your selected time block. If you arrive earlier, you may be asked to return closer to your scheduled window.

Dance Call Details

You must attend the dance call you select. To preserve everyone's experience, dance call space is limited and transferring dance calls will not be able to be accommodated.
