LEAGUE WAIVER & LIABILITY AGREEMENT
Northeast Showtime / Boston 7v7 Summer Circuit
1. Acknowledgment of Risk
I, the undersigned participant (or parent/legal guardian if under 18), acknowledge that participation in football-related activities—including but not limited to 7v7 games, practices, combines, camps, and tournaments—involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to:
Physical injury (minor to severe)
Concussions and head injuries
Permanent disability
Illness or other health complications
I understand that these risks may arise from my own actions, the actions of others, field conditions, or the nature of the sport itself.
2. Assumption of Risk
I voluntarily choose to participate in all league activities and fully accept and assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation.
3. Release of Liability
In consideration for being allowed to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Northeast Showtime, Boston 7v7 Summer Circuit, and their respective:
Owners, directors, and employees
Coaches, referees, and staff
Partner organizations, schools, and facility providers
from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during participation, including those caused by negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. Medical Authorization
I certify that I am physically fit to participate and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation.
In the event of an emergency, I authorize league staff to:
Obtain medical treatment on my behalf
Contact emergency services if necessary
I understand that I am financially responsible for any medical treatment received.
5. Insurance Responsibility
I understand that the league does not provide health or accident insurance for participants. I acknowledge that I am responsible for maintaining my own medical insurance coverage.
6. Code of Conduct
I agree to:
Compete in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner
Follow all league rules and instructions
Respect officials, staff, and other participants
I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the league without refund.
7. Media & Publicity Release
I grant Northeast Showtime the right to:
Photograph and record my participation
Use my name, image, and likeness in promotional materials, social media, and marketing content
No compensation will be provided for such use.
8. Parental/Guardian Consent (For Minors)
If the participant is under 18:
I, as the parent/legal guardian, consent to my child’s participation and agree to all terms outlined in this agreement on their behalf.
9. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Northeast Showtime and all associated parties from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from my participation.
10. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
MEDIA RELEASE & CONSENT
I grant the Northeast 7v7 Football League, its representatives, and affiliates the right to photograph, record, and use my name, image, likeness, voice, and performance in any media, including but not limited to video, social media, promotional materials, and digital content.
I understand that this content may be used for promotional, marketing, and recruiting purposes without compensation.
I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished content and release the league from any claims related to the use of such media.
If the participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian consents to this media release on their behalf.
By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to this media release.
