AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
The Monica Matthews Photography Ambasador program is now open! I have some exciting new photoshoot opportunities and I'm looking for incredible dancers to represent my photography.
This is an exclusive program for Intermediate to Advanced Dancers who love dance photography and those who are professional and highly creative! I want to work with dancers who want to create artistic and unique dance photos!
Chosen Dancers get to test new themes, locations and get featured on my social media and marketing. Dancers will experience outdoor professional photoshoots & features on my social media while representing my photography.
The Ambassador program is open to Advanced Dancers who are comfortable in front of the camera, outgoing, friendly who would love to represent my dance photography & refer other dancers and post frequently on their social media!
Photoshoots are held in Salt Lake City, Utah County and locations within 1 1/2 - 2 hours away. Dancers choose their own dates. **VERY Limited spots available for this program!
Requirements to apply:
- Advanced Dancers (dance photography experience is a plus!)
- Ages 8 through college/professional, Dancers must be Advanced level!
- Dancers will select 3 photoshoots total to participate in, Dancers will select their own two dates from the list below.
- Selected Dancers will be required to pay a participation fee of $395 total
- The FALL program runs Oct & Nov & Dec (you choose your dates)
- Social Media; dancers must have an Instagram account (or be willing to set up a new one), must commit to share & tag your photos 2x per week, comment and like my posts, re-post any opportunities on your social media page. Private accounts are also acceptable. I prefer dancers that do not allow creeps or bot accounts to follow them.
- Exclusive Ambassador; dancers must commit to being an Ambassador for my program only from Oct-Dec 2026. (Photoshoots with photographers outside of Salt Lake City is permitted, but not with other SLC based dance photographers). I am looking for dancers that will promote my dance photos on their Instagram from Oct-Dec Dancers are permitted to be brand ambassadors for other (non-dance photography) companies. *Please contact Monica if you have concerns or questions
- Parental permission and in-person support required at each photoshoot
- Professionalism & Positivity; I am looking for dedicated, responsible, passionate, kind, creative and positive dancers (and parents) who are willing to learn
- Previous Ambassadors are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Out of state Ambassadors are also welcome to apply, we can do all three shoots in one weekend! You will be responsible for your own travel, transportation and acccomodations.
- I will accept dancers who commit to focusing on artistry over tricks and love my photography and style!
SELECTED AMASSADORS WILL EXPERIENCE
- Dancers participate in THREE DANCE PHOTOSHOOTS
- *Dancers will participate in TWO FULL PHOTOSHOOTS Plus ONE MINI SHOOT (such as snow or holiday)
- This session is Oct, Nov & Dec
- Dancers select their own dates, from the schedule list below
- Photoshoot slots may be individual or group
- Represent Monica Matthews Photography in social media & marketing
- Photoshoots are held in studio & indoor & outdoor
- Unlimited outfits
- Unlimited posing
- Photoshoots are generally between 1-2 hours (outdoor mini shoots are approximately 20-30 minutes)
- Learn tips & tricks for dance photography
- Full resolution/downloadable photos in online gallery
- Features on Monica Mathews Photography sites
- Learn tips & tricks from a published and seasoned dance photographer with over 10 years experience
- Photoshoots are held in Salt Lake City, Utah and the surrounding areas
ABOUT MONICA MATTHEWS PHOTOGRAPHY:
I am a published dance photographer, with over 10 years of experience, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have worked with hundreds of dancers from all over the US, photographing dance studio teams, high school and college teams, professional training program instructors, national dancewear brands and national athletic wear. As a mom of two dancer daughters, I love creating beautiful, artistic dance photos, but also seeing dancers grow in confidence! My Ambassadors have gone onto great things; Rockettes, NFL Cheer, published dance models, national dancewear models, numerous college dance teams and professional dance programs. I love what I do and I love helping dancers acheive their dreams though dance photography!
Being a part of the Ambassador program is unlike any other dance photography group-dancers work either individually with me or with 1-2 other dancers, we take many, many photos during our intensive sessions and I teach tricks and tips to elevate your dance photos and build your confidence!
