Girls Camp Code of Conduct

Purpose of Camp: Young Women's Camp is a sacred opportunity to grow closer to Jesus Christ, build lasting friendships, and strengthen our testimonies. We will have fun, learn new skills, and create meaningful memories together in a positive and uplifting environment.
We’re excited you want to attend Girls Camp! So that all may be safe and have a great experience, we ask you to agree to the following camp standards and expectations:
1. Christlike Conduct: I will treat others with kindness, respect, and inclusion. I will avoid gossip, bullying, or unkind behavior and strive to uplift those around me.
2. Participation & Attitude: I will participate in activities, classes, devotionals, and group assignments with a willing and positive attitude.
3. Spiritual Environment: I will help maintain a reverent and spiritually uplifiting atmosphere during devotionals, testimony meetings, and quiet moments.
4. Dress: I will follow the camp dress guidelines, choosing clothing that is event-appropriate, and suitable for activities. Closed-toed shoes are required in camp, including waterfront.
5. Technology Use: I understand that camp is a time to disconnect from distractions. I will leave my phone and other forms of technological media at home.
6. Safety & Boundaries: I will follow all safety rules, stay within designated areas, use the buddy system when required, and listen to leaders at all times.
7. Language & Behavior: I will use clean language and avoid inappropriate jokes, music, or media.
8. Respect for Property & Nature: I will care for camp facilities, personal belongings and the natural environment.
Agreement

I understand that if I choose not to follow these standards, leaders may take appropriate action, which could include limited participation in activities or contacting my guardian to pick me up early from camp. I understand the purpose of Young Women Camp and choose to support these standards so that everyone can have a safe, fun, and spiritually meaningful experience. I agree to uphold the standards outlined in this Code of Conduct.
