Rossall Foundation Garden of Reflection Gift Form
  • Rossall Foundation Garden of Reflection Gift Form

  • We invite you to be part of a project to commemorate an important chapter in Rossall’s history. In 1939, Rossall offered refuge to three boys fleeing persecution through the Kindertransport. Gerd Haag, Robert Augenfeld and Karl Schneider arrived alone in Britain and found safety, support and belonging at the school. Today, we aim to honour their story through a bespoke sculpture by Ian Wolter, forming the centrepiece of a new Garden of Reflection in the Hall garden. This space will stand as a lasting tribute and a place for reflection for generations to come.

  • You can support this project in two ways; by purchasing a commemorative slate plaque (size 21.5cm by 10.2cm). A limited number of commemorative plaques will be available on the wall beside the sculpture, offering a meaningful way to remember a loved one or celebrate a connection to Rossall. Please make sure any messaging is written in four lines with no more than 30 characters per line.

If you would like to support the creation of the sculpture or if you would like to donate any contribution towards the garden, please follow the link here
