The Wisconsin State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police would like to recognize all of the Law Enforcement Officers in the State of Wisconsin who have made the Ultimate Sacrifice. In appreciation of all of these men and women who have gone before us, the Wisconsin State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police is proud to offer a scholarship in their memory.
Awards and Eligibility
The Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge is committed to the advancement of the Law Enforcement Profession, and will award the following scholarships to students enrolled in an accredited college or university:
#1) $1,000.00 for any Wisconsin FOP Member who is in "Good Standing." The scholarship may be used for any degree that the applicant is pursuing.
#2) $1,000.00 for a family member of any Wisconsin FOP Member who is in "Good Standing"
The scholarship may be used for any degree that the applicant is pursuing.
#3) $1,000.00 for any individual who is a resident of Wisconsin and who is or will be pursuing a degree in the Criminal Justice Field (Law Enforcement area).
Application & Attachment Submission Process and Evaluation
Graduating High School Seniors must scan & attach a copy of their official high school transcripts.
Current college students must scan & attach a copy of their college transcripts.
Adult applicants not currently attending college are not required to submit any transcripts.
All applicants must scan & attach a letter of acceptance or proof of attendance at an accredited college or university.
Applicants must scan & attach one letter of recommendation, answer the qualification questions, and submit the required essay. (Note: Letters of recommendation must be current, signed and dated, and specific to this scholarship.)
Applicants must also attach a personal photograph in JPEG format.
Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their academic record, leadership ability, extracurricular activities, and essay.
APPLICATIONS THAT ARE INCOMPLETE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE AWARD
Deadline and Submission Information
Completed applications and all requested documents must be submitted by July 1, 2024.
