Directions:
Please select the classes that would fit most appropriately for each of your children based off of the descriptions below. Please consult the curriculum ordering list for information about what curriculum is used for each class.
Preschool and Kindergarten Science and History Classes 9:00-11:15:
The children will do Science and History in class. They will follow a set curriculum for Science unit studies with hands-on activities in class, and History unit studies based on historical figures and holidays. There will be no work assigned at home for this age.
1st-12th Grade Science Classes 9:00-10:00:
1st-2nd Grades: Earth Science for Beginners. The hands on activities and experiments that go with each lesson will be done all in class. Very minimal work will be assigned for home for Science for the first and second graders.
3rd-6th Grades: Elementary Earth Science. Reading and minimal notebook work will be assigned for home, and experiments will be done in class.
7th Grade: Middle School General Science. Reading, notebook work, and quizzes/tests will be assigned for home. Experiments will be done in class.
8th Grade: Middle School Earth Science. Reading, notebook work, and quizzes/tests will be assigned for home. Experiments will be done in class.
9th-10th Grades: High School Earth Science. Reading, notebook work, and quizzes/tests will be assigned for home. Experiments will be done in class.
10th-12th Grades: High School Chemistry. Reading, notebook work, and quizzes/tests will be assigned for home. Experiments will be done in class. NOTE: This class will only be offered in a small group setting for those who are ready to take it.
1st-12th History Classes 10:15-11:15:
1st-4th Grades: Elementary American History. Reading and minimal notebook work will be assigned for home, activities will be done in class.
5th-8th Grades: Middle School American History. Reading, notebook work, and quizzes/tests will be assigned for home, activities will be done in class.
9th-12th Grades: High School Government and Economics. Reading and tests will be assigned for home, activities and student presentations will be done in class.
