  • 🔄 What’s New for 2026
    We’re using pre-squadding process for HOA events only (Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays) for regionals this season.

    • Pre-squadding for HOA events will start on Thursday, April 9th at 9:00PM.
    • Pre-Registration Cutoff is Friday, April 10th at 5PM. No new submissions will be accepted after this deadline.
    • Normal Open Registration for Trap Doubles and Skeet Doubles will open on Sunday, April 12th at 7:00PM.
    • Normal Open Registration for HOA events will open on Sunday, April 19th at 7:00PM.

    🕐 Squadding will be done by Texas SCTP based on the team preferences on a “best fit” basis. We are not using Squadding priority based on the timestamp of the submission. Texas SCTP will do our best to honor the team’s preferences but will squad all teams to benefit everyone.

    💡 Note: Please note that this process has been thoughtfully modeled after SCTP’s established procedures for Nationals. We’ve worked diligently to adapt and refine it to best fit the unique needs of Texas SCTP and our regional tournament format.

    📝 Pre-squadding is optional, but only teams that submit complete pre-squad requests with full payment by the deadline will be pre-squadded.

    🧩 All squads must be pre-built in the SHOT system prior to before submitting this form.

    ❗ If payment is not received by Thursday, April 23 at 11:59 PM, your pre-squad request will be nullified and removed from consideration.

    To ensure a smooth and fair process for Regionals, all forms must be completed in full. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

    ⚠️ Note: Regionals is a three-day shoot. While we understand many teams prefer to shoot everything in a single day, single-day requests may not be honored due to limited field availability.

    🎯 Purpose of the Pre-Squadding Process
    This updated system is designed to:

    • Prevent teams from holding squad slots they may not use
    • Reduce system congestion during peak registration times
    • Improve fairness in scheduling across all programs

    ✅ Steps to Complete Your Team’s Regional Pre-Squad Registration

    STEP 1: Complete your squad entry for each HOA event:
    → Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays

    STEP 2: Calculate your team’s total amount due for each HOA event
    → (Number of athletes × event fee)

    STEP 3: Submit your Southwest SCTP Regional Pre-Registration Form when registration opens at Thursday, April 9 at 9:00 PM

    STEP 4: Submit full payment by Thursday, April 23 at 11:59 PM using the Regional Championship Payment Form → (Link will be active when pre-registration opens)


    💡 Reminder: Your registration is not considered complete until payment has been received.
