Whether it’s something passed down through generations or a dish that brings people together today, your recipe and story helps tell a larger story about this place.

Visit Farmington and the Farmington Museum are collaborating on an upcoming permanent exhibition about the history of the area. One section of the exhibition will feature recipes from our community that reflect the region’s history and diverse cultures. Visitors will explore regional dishes through an interactive experience, along with anecdotes about community members’ memories of each dish. All selected recipes will be included in an online community cookbook. Please share your favorite local family recipes that highlight local ingredients, culture, and history.
