Community Champion of the Year
This award recognizes a small business which advocates for the betterment of the Brookings community. Nominees will have demonstrated a commitment to service and philanthropy within the community through the donation of time, talent, and other resources. Nominees will have a track record of passion and energy for the Brookings regional area. Businesses of any industry and length of existence can be considered in this category.
Innovative Business of the Year
This award recognizes a business that is committed to innovation through research, development, and/or creative activities. Businesses of any industry and length of existence can be considered in this category.
New Small Business of the Year
This award recognizes a small business under two years of operation as an organization. Businesses may have been created within the last three calendar years but must not have passed a two-year anniversary point to be considered.
