As a candidate for office, I understand I can serve as a positive example for other motorists by following these three simple safe driving rules on the campaign trail, whether it’s me or someone who drives for my campaign who’s behind the wheel:

1) Put down the phone and focus on driving.
2) Obey speed limits and traffic laws.
3) Make sure everyone in the vehicle is wearing their seatbelt.
