    This application is for two of our core programs — Hive Pathways™ and the Career to Ownership Institute™. Please read through the program descriptions carefully, select the track that is right for you, and complete this application fully and honestly.

    Consideration for acceptance is based on the completeness and thoroughness of your application. This is a competitive process. We accept up to 20 participants in Hive Pathways and up to 15 participants in the Career to Ownership Institute per cohort. We encourage you to take your time and answer every question carefully.

  • SECTION 2: Program Selection — Choose Your Track

    BWWA offers two core programs. You must choose one. You cannot apply for both programs at the same time. Read the descriptions below carefully and select the track that is right for where you are right now.
  • Track 1 — Hive Pathways™ (Career Development Track)

    💼  Hive Pathways™ — Career Development Track

    For individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, or seeking to revamp their career. This is our career development track — designed to help you build a clear professional pathway, strengthen your skills, and take your next career step with confidence.

    ✓  You are unemployed, underemployed, or ready to make a significant career change

    ✓  You are seeking new or better employment and want to build a clear career pathway

    ✓  You want to strengthen your professional skills, positioning, and job readiness

    ✓  4 Wednesday evening sessions · 5:00 – 7:30 PM

    ✓  Followed by individual coaching · Then eligible for BWWA Partnership Certification Trainings

    ✓  Cohort size: 20 participants maximum

  • Track 2 — Career to Ownership Institute™ (Wealth Building Track)

    🏛  Career to Ownership Institute™ — Wealth Building Track

    For currently employed professionals and established, active business owners ready to build wealth. This is our economic agency and wealth-building track — designed to help you convert your active income into assets, build a three-year economic plan, and move from earning to ownership.

    ✓  You are currently employed with active, solidified income

    ✓  You are an established and actively operating business owner generating income

    ✓  You are ready to convert your income into wealth and build a long-term economic plan

    ✓  Blue Line Extension Corridor business owners are required to take this track to access corridor funds

    ✓  5 Saturday sessions · 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

    ✓  Followed by individual coaching · Then eligible for BWWA Partnership Certification Trainings

    ✓  Cohort size: 15 participants maximum

  • SECTION 3: BWWA Partnership Certification Trainings

    After completing your program track and coaching, participants are eligible to pursue BWWA Partnership Certification Trainings. These are specialty certification programs offered through BWWA’s training partners. They are optional — not required — but they are designed to deepen your skills, expand your credentials, and position you for career advancement, business growth, or workforce placement. These trainings may be supported with financial assistance for eligible participants.

  • SECTION 8: Economic Interests & Career & Economic Hub

    The BWWA Career & Economic Hub is located at 1200 West Broadway, Minneapolis. It offers coworking space, career support, technology access, coaching appointments, workshops, and resource navigation. Program participants have access to the Hub throughout and beyond their program experience.

    All accepted applicants must attend one Introduction Session before enrollment is confirmed. These sessions are your first look at both programs — you will meet the BWWA team, get an overview of Hive Pathways and the Career to Ownership Institute, connect with our certification training partners, and complete your enrollment documentation. Both Introduction Sessions cover both programs.
