    To apply for the Georgia Association of REALTORS® Scholarship Foundation Technical College Scholarship, please complete all required fields and upload supporting documents.
  • I. APPLICANT INFORMATION

  • II. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • To be eligible for consideration for the Technical College Scholarship, an applicant must:
    1. Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time or part-time student at an accredited technical college or other approved educational institution;
    2. Be pursuing a certificate, diploma, or degree program offered by a technical or vocational institution;
    3. Meet any residency, membership, or affiliation requirements established by the
    Foundation, if applicable;
    4. Demonstrate academic achievement, commitment to education, and career readiness; and
    5. Submit a complete application and all required supporting documentation by the stated deadline.

    Failure to meet eligibility requirements or to submit required materials in accordance with the Foundation’s Policies and Procedures Manual may result in disqualification.

  • V. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

  • Applicants must submit a typed statement addressing the following topic:

    Describe your educational and career goals, the technical or vocational program you are pursuing, and how completion of this program will prepare you for your chosen career path.

    Explain how receiving the Technical College Scholarship will support your success.
    The statement must be the applicant’s original work and shall be not less than five hundred (500) words and not more than three six hundred (600) words in length.

  • VI. LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION (REQUIRED)

  • Applicants must submit two (2) letters of recommendation, as follows:

    1. One (1) professional or academic letter of recommendation from an instructor, teacher, program advisor, employer, or other professional familiar with the applicant’s educational or technical training performance; and

    2. One (1) personal letter of recommendation from an individual familiar with the
    applicant’s character and qualifications.

  • VII. CERTIFICATION AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

  • By submitting this application, the applicant certifies that all information provided is true and complete to the best of their knowledge.

    The applicant acknowledges and understands that:

    • Scholarship awards are discretionary and subject to approval by the Board of Directors of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
    • Scholarship funds awarded under the Technical College Scholarship program shall be paid directly to the accredited technical college or educational institution attended by the recipient and shall not be paid directly to the recipient.
    • Scholarship funds may be applied toward eligible educational expenses, including tuition, required fees, on-campus housing (if applicable), and institutional meal plans, in accordance with Foundation policy.
    • Submission of an application does not guarantee the award of a scholarship.

  • VIII. APPLICATION COMPLETENESS AND REVIEW

  • Incomplete applications or applications missing required materials may be returned.

    The Foundation’s Staff Liaison, serving as the Foundation Administrator, shall notify applicants of missing or deficient materials by mail or electronic mail (email).

    Applicants shall be provided one (1) opportunity to correct any identified deficiency, provided that sufficient time remains before the application deadline.

    Missing or deficient materials must be received within fourteen (14) days of the date of notice, or no later than the published application deadline, whichever occurs first.

    Applications not corrected within this the applicable time period shall be deemed incomplete and shall no longer be considered.

  • IX. APPLICATION SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • All applications and required supporting documentation submitted via this platform will receive a confirmation via email. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that the application and all required materials are successfully transmitted and received by the Foundation by the applicable deadline or submission period.
