By completing this form, and booking with us you understand and agree to the terms below-
Adult Supervision: For all events/sessions adult supervision is required if there are individuals under 18 present.
Behavior Policy: Guests & students are expected to treat animals with respect. These are living, breathing, feeling animals. Disregarding handling & safety rules will result in the handling portion of the event/session being cancelled with no refund.
Scheduling: The requested date & time are not garaunteed, finalization of the reservation will be confirmed by email, text or phone call.
Cancellation Policy: Deposits are non-refundable.
Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule must be made at least one week in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your new date, subject to availability.
Live Animal Disclosure: No animal brought to events or sessions are capable of causing major bodily injuries to humans, however, any animal with a mouth can bite. Any with claws can scratch. Of course any animal can, and is much more likely to pee or poop than to do the previously listed. For the safety of everyone we have strict handling procedures and rules that must be followed that we go over before each and every hands on experience.
Hands on policy:For the safety of the animals, and guest/students our handling rules are as follows - We keep control of snakes heads at all times, during petting or holding. We reserve the right to decide how each and every animal can be interacted with, some animals can be held while others only petted. We may also bring Look dont touch animals but those are very limited. We will show how to pet/hold/interact with each and every animal in person. No squeezing, pulling or otherwise injurious handling for any animal. No touching the animals face. If an animal is on the floor for any reason noone is to step over the animal, or run towards the animal.( the only exceptions made for anything listed is photography shoots, at which point we are not responsible for any bodily harm, or property damages, the animals safety however will never be allowed to be put in jeopardy in any way.)
Booking and Payment
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $100+ mileage if applicable ( 50+ miles away) is required to secure your event date. This fee covers processing and date blocking.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon arrival on the day of the event.
Event Space and Requirements
Venue Space: Adequate space must be provided for the selected program, such as an auditorium, cafeteria, library, gymnasium, or sanctuary.
For outdoor events the weather MUST be safe for the animals. Reptiles are susceptible to serious health issues in temperatures that are too cold or too hot, therefore outdoor events/sessions are susceptible to weather. Having a backup venue is best, in the case of a storm, unusual weather patterns etc rescheduling can be discussed in advance. Outdoor events/sessions will be unavailable if the temperatures are under 65, or over 90.
Liability - Cryptid Creatures Reptile & Exotics Rescue is not liable for any damages or injuries caused by failure to follow instructions provided during the event/session. The customer/parties present assume all responsibility upon interaction with the animals.
While all of our animals are worked with regularly, and we are experienced professionals, at the end of the day they are living,breathing,thinking animals. These policies may seem extreme but are for the safety of all parties involved.
