  • Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. All winners will be notified on or before June 12, 2026.

     

    SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFICATIONS:

    Awarded to graduating seniors from public and private high schools in the greater Claremont area. Monies will be distributed in the second semester of study at a college, university, or a post-secondary career in a technical education program following the successful completion of the first semester.

    Eligibility is based on:

    • Employment of the student, parent, or guardian for a minimum of six months at a company that is a member in good standing with the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce.
    • Evidence of community service hours above and beyond the required hours for graduation.
    • One letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
    • One letter of recommendation from someone other than a faculty or family member.
    • A grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
    • A personal interview with the Chamber's Scholarship Committee (at the discretion of the committee)
    • Submission of a complete scholarship application form and essay.

  • Your essay should be 300-500 words. You should address in your essay: your education goals and choice of major/career program, what you intend to do with your education, and why a scholarship is important to you. Include any academic and non-academic accomplishments, personal characteristics, or experiences that make you uniquely worthy of scholarship consideration.
