2026 - 2027 Delta GEMS Application

The Tampa Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2026-2027 Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta GEMS Institute. The goals of the Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta GEMS Institute are to provide tools that enables girls to sharpen and enhance their skills to achieve high levels of academic success; assist girls in proper goal setting and decision-making; assist in planning for their futures in high school and beyond; create compassionate, caring, community minded young women by actively involving them in service learning and community service opportunities. Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta GEMS Institute is a national signature program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and is being sponsored locally by the Tampa Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter. Participation is strictly voluntary and requires a strong level of commitment.

Participants must be between 14 and 18 years of age and in grades 9th - 12th. Participants must attend (A) Hillsborough County charter, private or public high schools: Alonso, Armwood, Blake, Chamberlain, East Bay, Freedom, Gaither, Hillsborough, Jefferson, King, Lennard, Leto, Middleton, Plant, Robinson, Sickles, Spoto, Steinbrenner, Tampa Bay Tech, Wharton (B) Pasco County charter, private or public high schools in East Pasco County: Pasco, Wesley Chapel, Wiregrass, Cypress Creek or Zephyrhills. Each participant will be expected to commit to regular attendance at monthly Delta GEMS meetings. More than 3 absences, your child will be excused from the program. A completed application packet along with an uploaded copy of your last report card with a minimum 2.0 GPA must be submitted by June 30, 2026.
