• Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce Continued Education Scholarship Application Form

  • Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. All recipients will be notified on or before June 12, 2026.

    Please note that this scholarship is designed for individuals currently in the workforce, not for those graduating from high school.  For those currently enrolled in high school, please use our STUDENT scholarship application form. 

    SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFICATIONS:

    Awarded to an employee of a member or current member of the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce. Monies will be distributed in the second semester of study at a college, university, or a post-secondary career in a technical education program following the successful completion of the first semester.

    Eligibility is based on:

    • Employment for a minimum of one year at a company that is a member in good standing with the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce.
    • Evidence of civic contribution in the greater Claremont community.
    • One letter of recommendation from a professional reference.
    • One letter of recommendation from an employer.
    • A grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
      • If you are not currently enrolled in school, this would be expected upon completion of your first semester, before funds are awarded. 
    • A personal interview with the Chamber's Scholarship Committee (at the discretion of the committee)
    • Submission of a complete scholarship application form and essay.

  • Your essay should be 300-500 words. You should address in your essay: your education goals, how additional education will benefit your current or future career goals, and why a scholarship is important to you. Include any academic and non-academic accomplishments, personal characteristics, or experiences that make you uniquely worthy of scholarship consideration.
