• "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?"

    Thursday, April 30 at 7PM
  • St. John's Episcopal Church is proud to host the 4th session of Faith250, a four-session learning series connected to a national, multifaith initiative inviting communities to reflect on shared civic values through sacred texts. As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, Faith250 creates space for thoughtful conversation about belonging, responsibility, and the moral aspirations that shape our common life.

Each session in the series centers on a different text that has helped frame America’s moral imagination. Together, participants will explore these works through a faith-informed lens, engaging history, values, and contemporary questions with openness and curiosity. (Faith 250)

Join us for our fourth Faith250 session as we explore ’What to the slave is the fourth of July?’ reflecting on who we want to be today, and the challenges that stand in the way of living into those ideals.
