    Trial-Runs focus group participants are a part of the exciting process of preparing a legal case for trial by giving feedback about evidence, testimony, and legal arguments.

    We pay for you to give us your opinion on real legal cases. The best part is that you can do this from home with your phone, tablet, or computer!

  • Process

    • Complete the initial registration.
    • If you are chosen for a session, you will receive an email from JotForm or Trial-Runs to update your registration with:
      • Picture of a United States state government-issued photo ID (passports are not allowed) to confirm your identity;
      • How you wish to be paid (we use CashApp, Paypal, or Venmo); and
      • Signing the Confidentiality Agreement and Media Release

    Terms and Conditions

    This form asks probing questions about you. This information is necessary for us to ensure that a fair cross-section of the community is involved in the focus group or mock jury. Trial-Runs, its employees, agents, and related entities will hold in confidence all information you provide to us about yourself.

    Eligibility

    Age 18 or older, English-speaking, U.S. citizens.

    Payment

    There is no payment for registration.

    Disqualification

    False information, leaving a field blank, or inputting N/A or an equivalent non-answer may disqualify your registration.  Registration by those outside of the U.S. will be deleted.

    To protect everyone involved, this agreement requires you to keep all information shared with you during the focus group confidential.

    This agreement also requires us to keep all information you provide about yourself confidential. This information is necessary for us to ensure that a fair cross-section of the community is involved in this decision-making.

    I agree to the following, in return for financial consideration:

    • I agree to be photographed and videotaped and allow the footage to be used solely by Trial-Runs, its employees, agents, and related entities
    • I agree to hold all information related to this case in the strictest confidence.
    • I will not discuss this case with anyone outside of this mock trial. In return, I understand that all information I provide about myself will likewise be held in strictest confidence.
    • I understand that this is a real lawsuit. Therefore, I will do my best to provide honest and thoughtful feedback.
