We are Third Year BS Accountancy Students from Miriam College-Quezon City undertaking this research in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the course Accounting Research Methods. Because your perspective is vital to the field, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your time and willingness to contribute your genuine insights regarding the evolving dynamics of burnout and anxiety in the Accounting discipline.
Primary Objective of this Study. The primary objective of this study is to assess the severity of burnout and anxiety among BS Accountancy Students across both public and private higher educational institutions to bridge existing research gaps in our academic community.
Expected Benefits. By completing this survey, we hope you may gain valuable insights into your experiences within your current academic environment. By taking this time to reflect on yourself, we also hope that you become more familiar with how you are feeling and use this as a way to be more conscious of your current mental status and academic well-being.
Potential Risks and Inconveniences. While we value your input, in choosing to participate, please be aware that you will be asked to complete two (2) questionnaires on topics related to your personal stressors. We are encouraging you to approach each item with openness and self-reflection, as your honest contributions are integral to the premise of our research. However, know that, as questions in this survey involve recalling personal experiences related to anxiety and burnout, it may cause considerable discomfort or emotional distress.
Participant Involvement. We encourage you to proceed at your own pace and share only what you feel comfortable disclosing. This survey shall require approximately 10 to 15 minutes of your time at most. Participation is entirely voluntary. Should you need support at any point, we urge you to seek help from a trusted individual, your guidance counselor, or a qualified professional.
You have the right to withdraw from the survey at any point without consequences. You may contact us through mcheuteamsana123@gmail.com to have your data excluded and permanently removed.
Participant Confidentiality, Privacy, and Protection. To ensure your safety, all information you provide will be treated with utmost confidentiality and used solely to assess and bridge the gaps on burnout and anxiety as per this study’s objectives. Furthermore, know that any data used for the purposes of this study shall only be stored until the research has been concluded. Once accomplished, the data collected and any copies of such shall be permanently deleted and destroyed by the researchers.
Compensation and/or Medical Treatments In Case Of Injury. In the event that you experience discomfort, you may stop answering the survey at any time. For urgent psychological support, the following mental health hotlines are available:
