Terms of Enrollment and Tuition

By registering for Dolya Camp, the parent/guardian acknowledges that the standard tuition is $150 per week. A discounted rate of $130 per week is available exclusively for students currently enrolled in Ridna Shkola. Please note that camp fees cover programming and supervision only. Upon completion of the form you will be contacted and provided an invoice to pay the non-refundable reservation fee.

Daily lunches and snacks are not provided.

Parents are responsible for ensuring their child arrives with a nut-free lunch and two snacks each day.

Operating Hours and Attendance

Daily camp operations at Morris Academy run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We encourage parents to drop off their children between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM to prepare for the day's programming. For parents with restrictive work schedules, staff will be on-site to receive children starting at 8:00 AM.

Standard pick-up is scheduled between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. Please note that a late pick-up fee of $10 will be charged for any child remaining after 4:30 PM. For the safety of all campers, children must be signed in and out by an authorized adult daily.

Notice of Limited Transportation Services (Currently at Capacity)

Dolya Camp offers a limited daily transportation service for a maximum of 10 campers per week. At this time, all transportation spots have been filled, and we are no longer accepting new requests for this service.

Eligibility is typically limited to families who reside further than 5 km from Morris Academy and lack access to a vehicle. Please note that submitting a request (when space is available) does not guarantee a spot, and all requests are reviewed on a case-by-case, week-to-week basis with supporting documentation.

Terms and Conditions of Service:

Approval Process: Submitting a request does not guarantee a seat. Spots are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case and week-to-week basis based on the verification of the documentation provided.

Fees: A non-refundable transportation fee of $60 per week per child applies only upon formal written confirmation of your child's spot.

Scheduling: Specific routes and timing are at the sole discretion of the camp administration and are subject to change based on logistical requirements.

Program Activities: Excursions and Pool Days

The Dolya Camp curriculum includes various off-site activities and outdoor programming. During Weeks 1 and 2, campers will participate in one weekly excursion. Starting in Week 3 and continuing through Week 9, the program expands to include both a weekly excursion and a scheduled Pool Day.

Please note that all off-site excursions and pool activities are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice based on weather conditions or safety considerations.

Participation in pool activities is further subject to the swimming competency levels indicated by the parent/guardian in the following section.

Dolya Camp is a community-focused program designed to make Ukrainian cultural, social, and recreational programming accessible to children and families. To help make this possible, families are asked to contribute a modest program fee where they are able.

This year, the standard program fee for Dolya Camp is $150 per child, or $130 per child for children previously enrolled in Ridna Shkola. Families who are able to contribute the full amount are encouraged to do so, as this helps cover the cost of Dolya Camp and supports the broader sustainability of UNF Avalon’s children’s, youth, and community programming.

At the same time, we understand that every family’s financial situation is different, and we do not want cost to prevent a child from participating. Reduced contribution levels, instalment-based payment arrangements, or fee waivers may be available where needed, based on program capacity.
