Vendor Requirements
All vendors must sell retail goods only. Services, service-based offerings, or advertising of services will not be permitted through this application process. All vendors must be the creator and/or owner of the goods being sold. No MLM, multi-level marketing, or direct sales companies will be accepted. All items must be legal for sale in the state of North Carolina. OMB reserves the right to remove any unapproved or non-compliant items.
Product pricing must be clearly and prominently displayed on all items. All displays, signage, and promotional materials must be professional, in good taste, and consistent with the overall market experience. Company name must be clearly visible within the booth. Subletting or assigning booth space, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited. At the discretion of OMB, up to two vendors may share a single booth space.
Exhibit Space Information
Vendors are responsible for providing their own 10x10 tent, tent weights, tables, chairs, extension cords, and proper booth lighting. Vendors are also responsible for full booth setup and teardown. All activities must remain within the assigned booth space.
White tents are highly encouraged. Vendors are responsible for ensuring their booth is properly weatherproofed and securely weighted at all times (additional weights are strongly recommended, especially for Ballantyne locations). All signage must be securely displayed and may not obstruct walkways or neighboring booths.
Vendor Attendance Requirement
Vendors are required to be present and fully operational for all scheduled market hours each day. Early breakdown is not permitted unless explicitly approved by an on-site OMB representative. Failure to comply with attendance requirements may impact eligibility for future participation.
Electricity
Each vendor booth will be provided with one electrical outlet for lighting purposes only. Electric space heaters are strictly prohibited. Propane heaters are permitted.
Vendor Set-Up Security
OMB is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage resulting from a vendor’s booth being unattended during market hours. Vendors are strongly encouraged to remain at their booth throughout operating hours and secure all merchandise appropriately.
Dismantling and Removal
No vendor may dismantle or remove their booth or display prior to the official closing times:
Fridays & Saturdays: 9:00 PM
Sundays: 7:00 PM
Any materials left after the designated breakdown time may be removed by OMB at the vendor’s expense.
Vendor Set-Up Fee
Regular Booth: $120 per weekend
Corner Booth: $180 per weekend
Hut: $480 per weekend
Once accepted, vendors will be required to sign a contract and submit payment by Tuesday, September 1, 2026. A receipt will be provided to the primary contact upon payment.
Date Request
Vendors will be asked to select preferred weekend(s) for participation. Booth assignments will be made based on availability, vendor mix, and operational needs. OMB cannot guarantee placement in more than one weekend.
Location Request
Vendors may select preferred OMB location(s) when applying. Placement will be determined based on availability, vendor mix, and operational needs. Preferred locations are not guaranteed.
Samples, Raffles, and Sales
Samples may be distributed only with prior approval from OMB. Vendors may take orders and sell merchandise at retail prices via cash or credit.
Soliciting
To protect guest privacy, vendors may not collect personal information from shoppers for any purpose unrelated to transactions made at the OMB Christmas Market.
Arrangement of Exhibits
Booth displays must remain within the assigned space and may not obstruct neighboring vendors or walkways. Displays may not exceed 10 feet in height unless otherwise approved at the time of application. Vendors must notify OMB in advance if their display exceeds this height restriction.
Noise
Use of loudspeakers, microphones, amplifiers, musical instruments, radios, or any other audio-emitting devices must cease upon request by OMB staff.
Care of Space
Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly booth throughout the market. Booths must be fully prepared for opening each day. All trash must be disposed of in designated bins. Cardboard must be placed in designated recycling areas.
Liability
OMB is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of vendor goods, equipment, or property under any circumstances.
Insurance Requirement
Vendors using fryers, open flame, or metal forging equipment must provide proof of insurance and a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming OMB as an additional insured.
General Terms
All matters not covered in these Terms and Conditions are subject to the sole discretion of OMB. OMB reserves full authority to interpret, enforce, and modify these terms as necessary to ensure the successful operation of the market. Vendors agree to comply with all OMB decisions and directives and to cease any activity deemed non-compliant with market rules.
