QPIRG Concordia Legal Funding
QPIRG Concordia offeres legal funding to assist in covering legal fees. QPIRG recognizes the incredibe burden that legal fees can cause and aims to support cases related to personal marginalization and political causes in line with our grassroots mandate.

We have $300 of funding per month available and you can apply for up to $300 per request.

If you continue to be in need, you may re-apply in future months (up to a cumulative total of $600) but first time applicants will be prioritized.

Legal fund applications submitted more than 24 hours prior to a board meeting will be guaranteed a spot on that meeting’s agenda; applications received with less time than that will be considered at that board meeting only with time permitting.

FUNDING CRITERIA

Your legal challenge must somehow relate to QPIRG Concordia's mandate.

If you’re approved for funding, we require a copy of an invoice from a lawyer, bill from court or similar documentation.
