This form is the first step in applying for the Lot Next Door program, which allows property owners to acquire vacant lots next to their property through a formal, legal process. By submitting this assessment and $25 fee, the city will review your eligibility and determine whether the lot qualifies for the program. In reflecting good faith, I submit $25 which I understand to be nonrefundable, to start the process of researching and retrieving information associated with obtaining my lot of interest. I also understand that this does not guarantee that I will be eligible for The Lot Next Door program, nor guarantees that I will be eligible to gain ownership of any property related and unrelated to it. I agree to remit payment to the City of Hopkinsville within fifteen (15) days or my application will become void.
