Learn-To-Ride@StVincentCommunityCenter | 6 p.m. Tuesdays June 2 to 23
Please read and fill out our BWorks registration carefully, and be sure to put the four class sessions on your calendar! A lot of time and effort by BWorks' team of dedicated staff and volunteers goes into making each four-week cohort a success, and we need your help in honoring that by making the four class sessions you sign up for a priority for your child. This free, four-week-long Learn-To-Ride course for students ages 8 to 17 years old is focused on learning to get up on two wheels and will take place in and around the St. Vincent Community Center (7335 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO 63121). St. Louis BWorks provides all needed materials (e.g. loaner bikes, plus helmets to keep) and teachers to help students achieve this goal. Learn-To-Ride students who successfully complete this program can go on, if they wish, to enroll in a BWorks Earn-A-Bike class (that’s a separate six-week course which focuses on more bike skills and ends with a graduation ride around the community — plus taking home a nicely refurbished bicycle to keep). Students who commit to this Learn-To-Ride series will meet for four Tuesday evening sessions, with a two-hour class beginning each week at 6 p.m. (and ending at 8 p.m.). The first class meeting is Tuesday, June 2, and the final class will be Tuesday, June 23. Students must consistently attend the classes. We limit the size of Learn-To-Ride to six students at a time in each group, and just one student per family per group given ongoing high demand for this popular class. And big thanks to Great Rivers Greenway for their support that is helping us to bring bike class to St. Vincent in 2026!

I understand the time, place and dates of this Learn-To-Ride course, and I am placing the dates, times and locations on our calendar now so that we stay committed to our student consistently attending the sessions.
Learn-To-Ride is a class specifically geared for young people ages 8 and up who have not yet had the opportunity to learn to ride independently on two wheels. It's a separate offering from our Earn-A-Bike series.
*
I understand and confirm that Learn-To-Ride is the appropriate BWorks class for my child at this time.
The BWorks team puts a great deal of time, effort, imagination and labor into each class series. It's important that student participants and their caregivers honor that with consistent, engaged attendance.

I understand how important this commitment is, as does the student I am registering. We understand there are limited spots, and we commit to making this class a priority to help make this series a success for everyone involved.
