Black Love Matters – A Valentine’s Day Exhibit
Artist & Vendor Application Agreement
1. Application Verification
This agreement confirms your application to participate as an official visual artist or vendor at Black Love Matters: A Valentine’s Day Exhibit in Los Angeles, CA on February 14th, 2027.
2. Artist & Vendor Requirements
Visual artists will be displaying and selling their work on provided wall space.
Only beverage or treat vendors are allowed; all food will be catered by the event team.
Artists and vendors must provide any additional display equipment they require (tables, easels, stands, etc.).
Electrical outlets are available; please specify your needs in this form.
3. Application Fee
A non-refundable $25 application fee is required for all submissions.
4. Display & Product Guidelines
Visual artists may display and sell their works (paintings, photography, mixed media) on assigned wall space. A 33% commission will be collected on all artwork sold during the event, or artists may opt for a flat participation rate of $333.
Vendors may display products within their purchased booth size: 6x6, 10x10, or 12x12. Booths must fit within the assigned area; special requests for larger displays must be approved in advance.
5. Liability
Black Love Matters is not responsible for accidents or incidents in the venue.
Vendors and artists are responsible for their own products, displays, and any effects on attendees. Assistance will be provided where possible, but all participants assume responsibility for their own materials.
6. Event Schedule
Setup: Artists and vendors will have access to the space beginning the day before the event for early setup preparation. Additional setup time will continue throughout the first half of the event day to allow artists and vendors ample time to fully install and prepare their spaces.
Art Viewing & Sales: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Dinner & Performances: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Breakdown: Vendors may begin breakdown at 10:00 PM
7. Registration & Fees
Participation is voluntary. Artists and vendors retain rights to their work and sales.
The registration fee must be paid in full within 72 hours of acceptance to secure your space.
Locations are assigned accordingly, depending on your brand and the size of your vending table or the sizing of your pieces. Special front-of-venue placements may carry an additional fee of $111
Assistance will be provided where possible, but all participants assume responsibility for their own materials.
Pricing For Visual Artists & Special Featured Vendors:
Visual Artists who need wall space:
$333 or 33% commission split
Participating artists will receive placement within a professionally curated exhibition environment, cultural visibility through Black Art Matters and our social platforms, access to a high foot-traffic audience, a documented experience through photography and video coverage, and inclusion within an immersive atmosphere featuring live performances, installations, and community-centered programming.

10x10 Vendor Booth
Price: $375
Beverage or Treat Vendors
Included in the 12x12 booth fee.
12x12 Vendor Booth :
Price: $475
All vendors must pay the $25 application fee and select their booth or wall space to complete their registration. Confirmation emails will be sent within 24 hours of submission and payment.
8. Refunds & Cancellations
Registration fees are non-refundable.
Optional promotional post fees are non-refundable.
In case of unforeseen events (acts of God, strikes, epidemics, etc.), the event may be rescheduled; participating vendors will receive a credit for a future exhibit.
9. Promotional Materials
Vendors and artists may use the name and likenesses of Black Love Matters: A Valentine’s Day Exhibit in their own marketing.
Vendors may submit promotional items (coupons, business cards, flyers) for inclusion in registration/attendee materials.
10. Agreement
By signing below, you agree to the terms outlined above and confirm your participation in Black Love Matters: A Valentine’s Day Exhibit.
