Junior Board Officer Elections and Requirements
The officers of this Association shall be elected by ballot or show of hands at the meeting of the Texas Junior Angus Association held in association with the annual State Junior Angus show. The candidate must fill out an application posted on the Texas Junior Angus Association website. The application must be postmarked by May 15th to the vice president. Officers shall be elected for a term of one (1) year, or until their successors are elected and qualified and assume the duties of their office at the closing of the annual STATE JR ANGUS SHOW banquet. To be an officer you must have served as a director for one (1) year and be at least in the 8th grade. Officer positions of President, 1st Vice President, and 2nd Vice President candidates should have received their National Jr. Angus Association Bronze & Silver Awards prior to elections.
Junior Director Elections and Requirements
The director position will be elected by acclamation. Directors must fill out an application posted on the Texas Junior Angus Association website. The application must be postmarked by May 15th to the designated advisor. Officer candidates that meet application requirements but are not elected can serve as directors.

Introduce yourself, explain why you would like to be a Texas junior board member (as well as desired position(s) if you feel to do so) as well as why you are qualified for the office. At the Junior Meeting, be prepared to give a 1–2-minute speech about yourself along with why you would like the juniors vote for this position.
