    The growing use of digital advertising and social media, both professionally and personally, offers significant opportunities for massage therapists but also presents compliance risks. As AMT members, massage therapists must adhere to AMT’s policies and guidance relating to advertising and social media use. But what does this look like in practice?

    This session explores your obligations and responsibilities, highlights common advertising and social media pitfalls, and explains where massage therapists may unintentionally fall outside requirements. Using practical, real‑world examples, the session will help attendees identify potential risks and engage online in a safe, ethical, and compliant way.

Over the past 20 years, her professional focus has centred on creating and implementing risk management education resources and programs tailored for diverse professional audiences.
