Stephenson County Fair Pageant – Young Miss DivisionRules, Requirements & Acknowledgement

Please read ALL rules carefully before proceeding. Required for all applications to be accepted.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Contestants must meet the age requirements for the Young Miss division.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be a resident of Stephenson County, Illinois OR attend a Stephenson County school.
Contestants may not hold another current title.
Parent or legal guardian consent is required.

GENERAL RULES
Contestants must demonstrate good sportsmanship and positive behavior.
Must follow all instructions from the Pageant Director and committee.

PAGEANT PARTICIPATION
Contestants will participate in:
Personal Interview
Stage Presentation
Communication/Speech
Crown Bowl Questions

REHEARSALS & COMMITMENT
Rehearsals are required and schedules will be provided.
Attendance is expected; excessive absences may result in disqualification.

CLOTHING & APPEARANCE
Attire should be age-appropriate and suitable for competition.
Outfits may require approval prior to the pageant.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Judges’ decisions are final.
The goal of the program is confidence-building and positive experience.
