Welcome! We're looking forward to you joining with us and other passionate creatives this summer. Register here for the Ascend conference and its daily activities. Prices vary. Chris Hopkins workshop is 3 days. All other workshops are 2 Day with varied schedules

Daily event options from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Lodging for out of town guests is separate from conference tuition, and participants will reserve their own lodging. Ascend has reserved a block of rooms at a local hotel closeby for conference attendees with more info on the website.

Early registration discounts extended to May 10th

Participants must be 13 years or older to attend. Cancellation policy: There is a non-refundable $30 registration fee. $50 is non-refundable after June 1 through June 15th. Sorry, but no refund if cancellation received on June 16th or later, but you could transfer your spot to another attendee.

Dietary Needs/Restrictions. Please let us know your health restrictions. If you do not mention your dietary needs here, we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate your dietary preferences or needs. While we make a reasonable effort to accommodate requests, we are not a restaurant and do not have full food service options. Individuals with highly restrictive dietary medical needs should consider supplementing our menus with personal food you may bring. You may talk directly with our caterer for more info.

Each track may require the purchase or acquisition of a materials/supply list. A more detailed email will be sent to you after your register which will include the recommended and required materials list for your specific course of choice. Or an online link from your instructors may be provided.

COMMUTER OR SUGGESTED LODGING - Please indicate below: Ashland is a beautiful town nestled between mountians and known for its summer Shakespeare Festival. The surrounding region has many suitable and beautiful accommodations to choose from. Given the popularity of the high tourist season in southern Oregon please reserve your accommodations well in advance. Conference rates do not include lodging. Suggested option: Comfort Inn and Suites has a block of rooms reserved for Ascend conference attendees. Camping and private VRBO homes and hotels also available in the area. Sorry, we do not have lodging arrangements for unaccompanied minors.

Commuter or chosen lodging -

Local Lodging: Comfort Inn and Suites in Ashland. A block of rooms is reserved at the Comfort Inn and Suites for conference attendees, just 3 miles from the venue with a lovely swimming pool. Reservations can be made by calling 541-482-6932. Please identify yourself as a Ascend Conference attendee when you book. Room with one King ($160/night (average over conference dates) plus tax). Breakfast is included. If you are interested in booking a double room to share and would like Ascend to help connect you with a roommate, please indicate below and we will seek to pair you with another compatible Ascend attendee. Shared room rate is not guaranteed until a roommate is secured. Lodging costs will be shared 50/50 in private arrangement between roommates and one roommate must make the initial reservation.

Participation, Release, and Medical Agreement. While we make every effort to provide a safe and pleasant environment for every attendee who attends ASCEND 2026, we do require that this participation agreement be read, filled out, signed, and dated by all attendees (or their parent/guardian if under the age of 18) who wish to participate in activities and workshops at ASCEND 2026, hosted by Masterpiece Christian Fine Arts Foundation (MCFAF). With full knowledge, I accept full responsibility for any injury, accident OR Covid-19 exposure that may occur to myself, or my child if under age 18, while participating in ASCEND 2026 activities/workshops. MCFAF and its staff will take reasonable daily sanitation measures at points of high contact (drinking fountains, food stations, restrooms). I, on behalf of myself, my children, my assigns, and my estate, agree to release and hold harmless MCFAF its officers, board, agents or employees, for any and all claims for injuries, causes of action, or liability related to my or my child's participation in any activity occurring at ASCEND 2026. This release does not apply to intentional and/or willful acts of misconduct by MCFAF or any of its officers, board, agents or employees or volunteers. Should MCFAF Ascend or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold MCFAF, Ascend harmless for all such fees and cost, and parties bringing such a claim will pay all attorney costs should the claim be found insufficient. By signing this document, I acknowledge that if I am (or my minor child is) hurt or property damaged during my or my child's participation in these activities, I and/or my child may be found by court of law to have waived any right to maintain a lawsuit against MCFAF on the basis of any claim which has been released herein. I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I have read and understood it and agree to be bound to its terms. I agree to the above medical/participation release

I understand that my personal insurance will provide primary coverage for medical aid and that MCFAF, Ascend 2026 Creatives Conference are not under obligation to provide excess coverage. IN CASE OF MEDICAL EMERGENCY if I the parent or guardian cannot be reached, I hereby give permission to the physician selected by MCFAF or their agent to hospitalize, secure proper treament for, and order injection, x-ray, anesthesia, or surgery for my child as named previously.
