  • This year marks the 25th anniversary since September 11, 2001 – a monumental tragedy and moment in America’s history. The Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and Indianapolis Public Library are collecting personal reflections from our community about what life looked like on September 12 and in the days after.

    What we're doing

We are gathering stories from our Indianapolis community to better understand how this moment shaped daily life, work, and the aviation industry.

These stories will help preserve a shared history for future generations.
