• 2027 ITG Conference Scholarships

  • The International Trumpet Guild is pleased to offer scholarships to help young musicians, college and graduate students, and post-graduate professionals attend the annual ITG Conference.

    Eligibility

    Applicants must be current ITG members before submitting an application. Please note that new memberships may require up to five business days to process.

    Scholarship Award
    Each scholarship recipient will receive:

    • $250 toward conference expenses (awarded at the ITG Conference Awards Breakfast)
    • Complimentary ITG Conference registration

    Scholarship Divisions

    • Category I - Youth: 18 and under, not yet in college.
    • Category II - Collegiate/Graduate: Age 28 or under and currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
    • Category III - Independent Artist: Age 25 or older, for post-graduates and adults pursuing freelance, independent, or developing careers.

    Scholarship Availability

    • Categories I & II: Up to 100 scholarships combined
    • Category III: Up to 5 scholarships

    Each category will be evaluated independently by a separate panel of judges.

  • Financial Need and Why ITG?

    In one PDF document, please answer the following two questions:

    1. Tell us how receiving the $250 scholarship and complimentary conference registration would make a difference in your ability to attend the ITG Conference. You may wish to share any financial circumstances or challenges that would make attending the conference difficult without assistance. (200 words maximum)

    2. Why would you like to attend the ITG Conference, and what do you hope to gain from the experience? Tell us what attending the conference would mean to you. You might consider performances, clinics, master classes, competitions, networking, meeting other trumpeters, educational opportunities, professional development, or other aspects of the conference that are important to you. (200 words maximum)

    Submit a performance video (5 minutes or less) that represents you as a musician. You may perform any style of music (e.g., classical, jazz, contemporary) and may be accompanied or unaccompanied. Repertoire difficulty is not a consideration. You may submit one or multiple selections totaling up to 5 minutes. Professional recording equipment is not required; a phone or other device is perfectly acceptable. You must remain clearly visible, and the audio must not be digitally altered.

    Videos must be uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted link.
