We will be holding monthly Open Mic Night events at the UYC, are you interested in helping out with any of the following roles during the event?
Role descriptions:
Meet and Greet — You're the first friendly face people see! Welcome everyone at the door, make them feel at home, and help them find their way around.
Technical (Sound/Lights) — You control the cool stuff! Run the microphones, speakers, and lights to make every performer look and sound amazing.
Photography/Video Recording — You're the memory keeper! Capture all the best moments so everyone can look back on the awesome night.
Selling Snacks — You're in charge of the yummy stuff! Help set up and sell drinks and snacks to keep the crowd happy and energized.
Production Management — You're the big picture planner! Make sure all the other volunteers know their jobs and that everything comes together on the night. (This is a role for future event planning also)
Music Planning and Selection — You help pick the vibe! Work with performers ahead of time to plan what music will be played and in what order. (This is a role for future event planning also)
Stage Manager — You keep the show on track! Make sure each performer gets on and off stage on time and knows exactly what to do.
MC (Master of Ceremonies) — You're the star of the in-between moments! Hype up the crowd, introduce each performer, and keep the energy electric all night long.
