    Tier 2: Community and Emerging
Early Bird $100 CAD (by August 15) | Regular $200 CAD

This tier is for people earlier in their careers, working in under-resourced settings, or where the full professional rate would be a genuine barrier. INQYR network members are also welcome at this tier. If you wear multiple hats, choose the tier that honestly reflects your primary context and financial situation.

    This includes:

    • Graduate students not on a full salary (Masters or PhD students on stipends or self-funded)

    Tier 3: Supported Access
Early Bird $40 CAD | Regular $80 CAD

This tier exists to ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation. It is intended for youth and for people for whom even a reduced rate would create hardship. All those in financial need are welcome and no justification is required. Spots are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.

    This includes:

    • Youth under 21, regardless of employment status
    • People currently unemployed or between positions
    • People whose income or life circumstances make any conference fee a genuine barrier.
    • Equity-seeking participants including 2SLGBTQIA+ people who are racialized, have disabilities, are newcomers, and facing structural barriers to participation.

    Examples:
A young queer person attending their first research conference. Someone between jobs who has done community advocacy work. A newcomer to Canada engaged in LGBTQ+ community organizing. A person with a disability on a fixed income.
