As you may know, we are a small but mighty team of 5 people at EqualityMaine! We are in need of reviving our team of volunteers for many of our events, but we are specifically in need of support for this upcoming pride and tabling season as well as some upcoming events. We are excited to work with the community to help represent EqualityMaine across the state this Pride Season!
Each type of volunteering team will have a required training to be part of the program.

Community Outreach - Tabling at Prides and Events
This volunteer opportunity requires the ability to attend one of the provided volunteer trainings and to be able to table at least 2 pride events this June on behalf of EqualityMaine. When representing EQME, you will be required to: chat with the community about our organization, work, and programs; manage a table of informational pamphlets and swag; intake donations. We supply all of the materials, including a tabling kit, info packet and FAQ answers, and a EQME t-shirt. All pride events have at least 2 volunteers/staff people.
There may be events beyond Pride to represent EQME as well.
Event Support
This Pride season, we have two events.
1)Our EqualityMaine Annual Awards & Pride After Party in Bangor.
2)Our annual Youth Pride Party in Portland. Only current NLP volunteers may support this event.
To make these events happen, we need some support!

Event Support: Volunteering
Support our Bangor event through volunteering and receive a free ticket to the event! Volunteer roles at this event will include: Event decorating and set-up, raffle management, welcome committee, awards support.
Event Support: Fundraising
We could use support in fundraising for our event and our raffle to support our programs!
