  • Consider for BCBA CEUs

Are you, or a co-presenter for the proposed presentation a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)? Do you want your session to be considered for BCBA CEUs? By indicating “yes,” you agree to meet the BACB requirements for CEUs as outlined on the website.

You may use the attached document to go into more detail about how the session will meet the BACB requirements for CEUs if needed.

  • Detailed Proposal Description

Submit a detailed proposal description as a PDF file, two (2) pages maximum.

Start by restating the title of your session

Use clear, concise language to describe exactly what you will be presenting.

    • Start by restating the title of your session
    • Provide a brief introductory paragraph that provides an overview of your topic.
    • Describe the theory, concept, or research basis of your topic
    • Your proposal does not need to be a formal research study and, ideally, should be oriented for practitioners and/or caregivers.
    • If it is practitioner- and/or caregiver-focused, the topic should be based on sound theory or tested by others, not just a “good idea”.
    • Describe exactly what you will be presenting, including how you will be presenting it.
    • Explain the impact your proposal has on the field and how it is aligned with the MSLBD mission
    • Remember, if your proposal’s focus is to showcase a product (e.g., materials, books, videos, or consultation services) for sale, you should not submit a proposal through the peer-reviewed process. Instead, you will want to complete an application to become an exhibitor.
