• Funding Round Now Open: Unidentified Human Remains Cases

    Compass IGG & Advocacy is accepting applications for funding to support the investigation of UHR cases. This is an open funding round, and no preference will be given to cases based on specific characteristics. All eligible submissions will be evaluated on equal footing.Agencies may submit up to five cases for consideration. A separate application must be completed for each case; combined or consolidated submissions will not be accepted. Eligible cases include any manner of death for remains recovered within the past 100 years. Compass does not accept neonatal cases or cases where the remains are believed to be historical or medical specimens. Applications close at midnight Pacific time, September 28, 2026.
