POLICIES:
Sick Policy:
For the health and safety of all children and staff, please do not send your child to school if they are sick. Symptoms of illness may include, but are not limited to, runny nose (especially green or yellow discharge), persistent cough, sore throat, skin rash, fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, or if your child is not well enough to comfortably participate in daily activities.
Children must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication before returning to school.
In cases of vomiting or diarrhea, children must remain home for at least 24 hours after symptoms have completely resolved.
If a child becomes ill while at school, parents/guardians will be notified immediately and required to pick up their child promptly.
We reserve the right to send a child home if they appear unwell or unable to participate, even if symptoms are mild.
Potty Training Policy (for children not fully potty trained):
Children who are not fully potty trained must attend wearing a diaper or pull-up. Children currently in the process of potty training are also required to wear a diaper or pull-up during school hours.
Please note: Our staff does not provide potty training. While children are prompted and encouraged to use the bathroom at designated times, we are unable to accommodate individualized potty training schedules or routines.
If a child has an accident, they will be changed into a diaper or pull-up.
Parents are required to provide a minimum of three (3) diapers or pull-ups per day, along with a complete change of clothes, including socks.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in your child being unable to participate in the program for the day.
Behavior Policy:
We strive to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children. We understand that young children are still learning appropriate behaviors and developing emotional regulation skills.
Behaviors such as hitting, biting, kicking, throwing objects, or other unsafe actions will be addressed immediately.
In addition, frequent or prolonged emotional outbursts (including meltdowns or temper tantrums), significant difficulty following classroom routines, or behaviors that require constant redirection and prevent staff from effectively supervising the group will also be addressed.
If a child demonstrates ongoing aggressive, unsafe, or highly disruptive behavior, parents will be notified. Should these behaviors continue and become a safety concern or significantly impact the group environment, the child may be required to attend with a parent-provided 1:1 support person (such as an RBT, therapist, or caregiver).
We reserve the right to pause or discontinue participation if a child’s needs cannot be safely or appropriately supported within the group setting. In such cases, refunds will not be issued.
Cleaning & Sanitation Procedures:
All children are required to wash their hands after using the restroom.
Hand sanitizer is required before entering the gym and before and after all snacks and meals.
All surfaces are cleaned and wiped down between meals and activities.
The classroom, gym, and all toys are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized daily.
Late Policy:
Parent agrees that drop off time is no earlier than 5 minutes before the program start time and pick up time is no later than 5 minutes past the program end time. A $12 late charge will be applied after 5 minutes past the scheduled pick-up time.
