  • ⟡ How long will my tattoo take? - Here’s the answer: ⟡

Tattoo timing can vary quite a bit, and I’m never able to guarantee exactly how long a piece will take. While I can provide a general estimate, every tattoo is unique. sometimes smaller, highly detailed designs can take longer than larger, more open pieces.

There are also several factors that can affect timing during your appointment, including placement on the body, skin sensitivity, how your skin takes ink, overall detail, and the need for breaks throughout the session.

I approach tattooing with a strong focus on quality over speed. I never want to rush a piece, and I’m always willing to break a tattoo into multiple sessions if that’s what’s best for the final result, regardless of size.

To ensure the best (and most efficient) result, I do my best work when I’m fully focused. I have an inattentive ADHD working style, which means that it can sometimes be challenging for me to carry on conversation while actively tattooing. Because of this, I highly encourage bringing headphones or something to keep you entertained during your session.

Of course, we can absolutely chat and connect throughout the appointment! but there may be periods where I need to fully lock in and focus on the tattoo. This helps me work efficiently and ensures your piece receives the time, care, and attention it deserves.

  • ⟡ Budgets & Session Planning   ⟡

  •

I completely understand wanting to work within a budget, and you’re always welcome to share your comfort range when booking.

That said, the size, detail, and overall scope of your tattoo will determine the time required. I’m not always able to adjust a design to fit a specific budget without compromising the integrity of the piece.

The best way to approach budgeting is by setting a session cap. For example, letting me know you’d like to stay around $___ per session allows me to plan accordingly so we can stay within your comfort zone while still giving your tattoo the time and attention it deserves.

If your tattoo requires additional sessions, we can continue planning in a way that works for you.

My goal is never to rush a tattoo or cut corners, but to create something strong, lasting, and thoughtfully executed.

Additionally, I cap my sessions at around 5 hours per day. Beyond that point, my focus can begin to fade, my wrists become fatigued, and the skin can become more irritated or swollen, which may impact how well the tattoo heals and holds ink.

  • ✧ Design Process ✧

  • Your custom design will be presented the morning of your appointment. For this reason, it’s very important to be clear and detailed about your visual expectations when booking. I can never guarantee that a design will be provided prior to the tattoo date, though when I am able this is something that I like to do.

Minor adjustments can be made on the day of your appointment. However, significant design changes may require rescheduling to allow adequate time for revisions. If a reschedule is needed due to design changes, you will not be charged a cancellation fee. your satisfaction is always the priority!

The design fee covers up to 4 hours of design time. Additional revisions beyond this will be billed at $50 per hour.

All designs are custom artwork created specifically for you. The design fee covers the time and effort involved in creating your piece, but does not grant permission to have the design tattooed by another artist or used for profit in any way without written consent.

The artist retains full rights to all artwork and may use designs for portfolio, promotional, or print purposes. In the event that a design is not used, the artist reserves the right to repurpose the artwork for a future tattoo project.
