Wheel Throwing for Beginners

4-Class Session

Saturdays October 10th, 17th, 24th, & November 7th
from 9:30am-12:30pm

New to the wheel? This class is for you.

In a small, low-pressure setting, Kimberly will guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals of wheel throwing — centering clay, forming simple shapes, trimming, and finishing.

Beyond the technical skills, you'll find a relaxed community of fellow beginners learning right alongside you.

No experience needed, just a willingness to get your hands dirty!

Fee: $130.00 for a 4 week series & includes all supplies

Space is limited to 4 participants.

First Spin: Beginner Pottery Workshop

TWO-Part Workshop

Saturdays from 9:30am-12:30pm

November 14th & 21st

Give yourself two Saturday mornings of fun and creativity.  This class is for beginning wheel throwers or folks that want to continue learning the basics.  We will throw pieces the first week and finish them in week two.

No experience necessary.

Fee: $ 100.00 covers both 3 hour classes & includes all supplies

Space is limited to 4 participants.

Submission of this registration form reserves your spot in class.

If the class becomes more than half full, prepayment will be required to hold your space. Payment may be made in person or online through an invoice and must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the start of class.

If paying in person please make sure to select which class you are signing up for below in the "Pay in Person Options" section and not in the "Paying Online Options", thank you.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel, you must provide at least 7 days’ notice, regardless of whether you have prepaid or plan to pay in person. This policy allows the instructor to prepare supplies appropriately and ensures that spaces are available for others.

Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice or failure to attend will result in full payment being due, and an invoice will be issued.

Email info@can-nc.org with any questions, concerns, or to receive a refund prior to the 7-day policy if prepaid.
