PLEASE READ:
A "Blind trade" definition is: A dealer not being able to inspect the RV/Vehicle prior to giving an estimated trade value and just using the owner's information to provide a value.
Howard RV Center may NOT be willing to give a "Blind trade" value if:
- The RV is over 5 years old
- There any is interior or exterior damage to the RV, other than minor light scratches or small chips in paint (chips must be smaller that 2mm)
- If the interior has been altered from original design (changed interior bed design, changed furniture, flooring, and/or major décor changes) NOTE: Original manufacturer's condition will usually bring a higher value
- There is any water damage to the RV (i.e. soft floors, walls, roof, mold/mildew smells in RV or cargo compartments) due to plumbing &/or rain leaks
- If the exterior is faded and/or if the paint or decals are peeling
- If there are any body dents and/or bubbles in the sidewalls (aka Delamination)
- Miles over 60k
**A manager must physically inspect the RV if there is any of the above. Otherwise, the estimated value could vary 10% to 30% (or more)
PLEASE NOTE: The dealership would not be interested in taking the RV in on trade if it is in Fair/Poor condition and has some of these items, as listed above, that are moderate to severe. We do not have a market for AS-IS damaged RVs.
